Guest artists / presenters
We host a large number of guest presenters throughout the year and our goal is to support their presentation needs as best we can. The more communication we have up front, the better we will be able to support them when they arrive.
Guide When Hosting a Guest Artist / Presenter:
Please request a technical rider for guest artists / presenters before finalizing booking arrangements and share with John Black (Theatre Manager). A technical rider outlines technical needs and support requests. If this is not possible prior to booking, please share technical requirements for guests no less than one week prior to the event to ensure that we are able to provide the equipment and support as requested. If guests have requirements that we are unable to provide, they must know this up-front to make alternative plans. If a guest is unwilling to make alterations to their requirements, any equipment or services that must be hired in will be charged to the event sponsor.
Please put the guest artist / presenter directly in touch with John Black (Theatre Manager) as early as possible to be able to discuss technical requirements and support needs.
Please ask guest artists / presenters to arrive at the theatre 45-minutes prior to the event.
All events held in the theatres are supported by SFS Theatre staff. Guests are not allowed to access technical booths or operate technical systems. Some guest artists / presenters travel with their own technicians and/or equipment. We are happy to patch external equipment into our house systems for those who prefer to use their own technicians and/or equipment.
If desiring to record the event, please obtain written permission from the guest artist along with any distribution restrictions.
Please contact John Black with any questions or concerns about possible guest artists / presenters. The earlier and more detailed communication is, the better we can support your guest and event.
